First Christmas as a Family

This year was the first year that we spent as a family it was great Matt got home on the 18th of December at 10 am we went home and hung out as a family he said that Trayton had got really tall in a couple of months. That night we went to my family Christmas party it was great we did a family skit it turned out really good it was cool to see all of the cousins do family skits. The following week we just spent it as a family and it was good to have an extra set of hand to help with Trayton. Christmas eve we went to my parents house to have dinner and open all of our gifts we got a really nice set of pots and pans I was so excited to get them make cooking a lot better to have good pans to cook in. We went to my in laws and spent the night we woke up and opened gifts we spent the day playing games and eating lots of candy. We headed home for the night. Trayton had a really bad cough after it got worse we decided to take him to the ER we waited for a while and then we got to go back they told us that he had croup and that they wanted to watch him for 2 hours so we didn't get home until 5am. We woke up and went to my in law again for Matt and Dans b-day and a welcome home party for Matt played lots of games and got to spend time with the niece and nephews it was great. When we got home we saw a note in the snow from Sam and Jamie. We were sad that we missed them. On Sunday we decided to just let Trayton sleep and stayed home from church. We wrapped presents I called Sam and Jamie to see if we could see them so we went to visit them they are so big it is hard to believe that Jamie is the the age that Sam was when we got them. After we left there we went to Heber and had dinner and opened presents with Larry Cindy and the Kids. The rest of the week we just relaxed and spent time and a family. Matt left today it was nice to see him and sad to see him go excited that we get to see him in 10 day.
